SippiGrip thumbThe SippiGrip is an absolute must have for any parent! In fact, we have about 5 of these, and everywhere I go people ask me where I got it. Its affordability and practicality has also made it my number one new parent gift.

The SippiGrip is an easy to use, mom-invented product, which prevents your child’s cup, bottle or toy from falling to the floor and getting lost or dirty! Brilliant, right?!? Of course, there are other similar products on the market, but I’ve yet to find one that is as easy to use and works as well as the SippiGrip. (I’ve tried many!)

From the makers of SippiGrip “SippiGrip is durable, washable and grips your child’s cup or bottle for a secure and safe fit. It has a unique design which allows you to adjust the length of  the longer strap to correspond with the height of whichever car seat, stroller or high chair you choose.  In addition it is also designed to custom fit any brand or size sippy cup or bottle!”

When we first started using the SippiGrip, we could only find them online. I would order two or three every time, often giving them away as gifts. Thankfully, we can now find them at many baby supply stores such as Buy Buy Baby and Baby’s R Us. You can also find them on Amazon.

Stash with Trash: Repurpose all those Containers

Before tossing it into the recycling bin or trash can, take a moment to think about how you can repurpose a lot of your household trash. For example, a leftover egg carton can be used to organize a craft drawer, or separate tiny hair pieces. Let your kids paint it for more style. An empty diaper wipes container is perfect for storing plastic grocery bags in the car or nursery, or you can repurpose it as a storage box for crayons, toy parts or other craft supplies. Got a messy top drawer in your office? Glass baby food jars are perfect for storing paperclips, push pins and other small office supplies.
